Stephen Dolle and Phat Rhythm Section are set to be the opening act at this weekend’s Surf 24 Event in Huntington Beach, to commemorate International Day of Surfing. The band is an all hand percussion group featuring Stephen Dolle, Higgy Vasquez, Greg White, and Sathya Burchman. The Phat group will feature a djembe and other hand percussion version of the popular surf song, “Wide Out,” as well as pop hits like “We will Rock You,” and “Gold Digger.” The band plays from 11:30am to 12:30pm on Saturday, and 11:00am to 12:00pm on Sunday.
